My wife and I went from Seattle to Vancouver/Whistler for our honeymoon a little over three years ago. It's just a stunning area. I'm pretty sure I'd move up there if I ever got the chance and if I could find a job that would support the cost of living in Vancouver.

 

Well at least 'dip' that chrome badge in the top left corner and peel the rest !? ... but not because we don't love Toyota. I mean spending $30K+ hardly proves that at all... just to make it easier to clean

That's true. I don't think I'd enjoy living downtown because it is a VERY busy and packed city. I would love to live within a 20-30 minute drive, though.

Not yet. I haven't taken wheelin yet. A couple of weeks ago, we drove it all day on "high clearance" forest roads that IMO were in very good condition. This wed, I'm doing some more exploring in the same area. I hope I don't need that shackle. Haha.

 

I had a similar issue. I had written the Service Manager a long letter via post office, no doubt, about how his monkeys have destroyed my wheels with their hammer on weights on an Aluminum wheel. Never heard a word from him and I was fixing to go corporate when the "new" service manager called me and said he was cleaning up a stack of complaints the last manager had just left on the desk. All I asked for was for them to fix it or give me $500 so I could go get it fixed. He offered to repair them if I could leave the vehicle there 24 hours so I let them do their thing. It costs them $480 to have them repainted properly. So my $500 request was not out of order at all. At least I got them fixed. Now the white paint over spray that a service station got on the hood and front of my truck while they were spraying at a gas station and they did not block it off as if they were painting.......I got that removed via a paint shop at the gas station owners expense, $250. Then I got $7000.00 worth of hail damage but that is another story all together...... PS. I got my "new" tires" refunded totally by Pep Boys when I proved to them 3 out of the 4 were out of round. My coworkers told me they had some letters I need to write for them........

 

Took mine in to Toyota collision repair. Had a dent in my roof line from when I was driving through Tornado weather a few weeks ago. Tree limbs and shit flying everywhere.

So now I'm stuck driving this POS Chevy Silverado around. Not too impressed with my first drive in a fullsize.

 

I know how it sucks but it won't mean as much as the truck gets older. The tire shop that put on my Duratracs messed up my rims. They were 4 months old with 2500 miles on them at the time, just like new. Must have been one ugly socket that they used. I got $200 reimbursement and a few months later the damage doesn't bother me at all!

 

This is why I mount and balance my own..nice having a buddy with the equipment
