Started color matching the chrome rear bumper.

This time set up an extractor fan to hopefully keep the humidity down in the garage.

What do you need the power for?

I found the power to be lacking only when running the AC and in 5th gear. Switching to a higher rating gas helps in this department but downshifting to 4th will give you the power to accelerate quicker.

If you are looking to develop additional HP the best way, not the lightest on the wallet, is to supercharge, add headers + exhaust and get a custom tune done.

Usually those of us that purchase a 2.7 are not looking for a lot of power but a decent daily driver with decent gas mileage.

I have found that the maintenance on my 2.7 2WD is fairly simple and most do it yourselfers should be able to manage. I actually changed the transmission and rear end oils at 30K as recommended. My next service will be at 60K, excluding motor oil changes which happen at every 5K. Plugs are not due till over 100K.

I also took advantage of a dealer safety check at no cost to me. after doing the maintenance and they could only find the cabin air filter was getting close to needing replacement. Did that myself as well.

Roll tide! I drove mine up to Cleveland today and sold some seats to another member.

 

Added a simple lock to my center console. So stuff does not disappear when I leave it to get detailed. I have too much stuff in there to keep track of it.

 

Cool mod. you need to tell the management of the detail shop about missing items. He/ she won't know if nobody tells them.

 

I just did the locker mod... I soldered all the joints instead of crimp connectors though. Works like a charm!

I think it will make me enjoy my truck more (not just because of below), locker at the push of a button!

Hi All, new to the forums. I got my Taco last month. In the month that I've had her, this is what I've done.

Dipped my badges and rear bumper.



I added a JVC 6.1" DVD Stereo and installed USB input


The big project of the month was my Satoshi Grill, plus i dipped the chrome.

 

I really like the horizontal bars on the Satoshi. My '69 Buick had a similar insert!
