Since most of the 15k service is inspecting various items I doubt they put a master tech on it.

    No.
One of the newest guys does the oil changes, and there have been a LOT of reports where people have marked their oil filters, and the mark has still been there when they get the truck back.
Underfilled/overfilled hasn't been much of a problem, it's just been a matter of work NOT being done.

I'll use the dealership for recalls and major repairs where something is broken, but for routine maintenance, I don't trust anyone. Even if the oil change is free... er.... even if I paid for the cost of 6 oil changes in the price of my truck, I still wouldn't take it to the dealer.

And "Master Tech" simply means he's the guy who took the most classes. There's a good possibility one of the 50 year old sales guys has actually turned more wrenches than the "master tech"
Book learnin' doesn't always translate into ability or common sense.

My doors are the only stock things left besides the headlights
More like done over the past week, was bone stock, warranty finally ran out so I did the locker mod, fog mod rear camera switch mod, put a DVD head unit in, new shoes(toyo at2 265/75/16), took the front mudflaps off, hit a deer, did up a thin lip satoshi grill, mounted an ammo can in the engine compartment for tools, oil, rags etc., made a shackle recovery hitch, made doors with latches for the wheel well bed compartments, made a bracket for a holster for my ccw. Next is gunna be the diff breather, remove secondary air filter, softtop camper, fab up sum skids and a deer slaying bumper, all in all love this truck

I successfully washed and sealed the truck without installing a SINGLE swirl.

I got this truck new on Wednesday, fought with them to get them to NOT detail the thing. (their idea of a detailing is installing thousands of swirls and other assorted paint damage) I literally had to argue with them about it, and just flat out refuse.

Anyway, I washed using the two bucket method, then sealed it with AMMO Skin. The paint is absolutely flawless. I even sealed the headlights and tail lights so they maintain that crisp clear plastic.

Nice truck! Was overseas when I fell on love with the Hilux & knew I just had to have the USA bound Tacoma. Personally I like the DRings, but by all means, make it yours!
