Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
I just got the word that my seat covers are in the mail! Should be here the 21st.. pretty exciting

With 400 miles on the new truck, had to change a flat tire. Spent the day roaming out in the Flint Hills (Kansas) and had a chunk of flint that took exception to being driven on. Just hoping the tire is salvageable; if so, will keep it as my spare.

Great idea on tapping into the trailer wiring. Do you remember which wire it was? (Might have to steal this idea!)

Have someone put a multimeter on a wire and have someone put your vehicle in reverse till you find the one that puts out 12v.

The middle wire is Aux/Reverse, #1 pin is ground (bottom-left looking from the back of the plug/under the truck, or bottom-right looking from behind the truck). I could've used chassis ground but the wire was right there so I used it. Also one less hole drilled into the truck, and one less potentially flaky connection.

IIRC, they colors were white (ground) and a yellow with silver trace but double-check. Use a little screwdriver to unlock the clips and pop the elbow off of the back of the trailer plug - it'll all be right there for you to see.

Remember - don't use any crappy wire taps under there - strip and solder because it's such a nasty environment. Seal it all back up as good as you can. After taping/shrink wrapping the wires, stuff all of the wires back into the wiring loom and give it a few good layers of tape to hold it all together.

    Have fun!

Or one of two easier things than that - look at the pinout on the flap over the plug (my stock flap has it...) or google '7-way trailer plug images'. :D

Mounted my Ultra gauge with velcro to top left of windshield. Came out this morning to it hanging by the pillar molding. So re mounted it next to steering wheel. Then routed Monster headphones cable from Aux jack under console and up through holes in center console to iPhone. WAY better than having wires all over cab.

Just a question, why didn't you just undo the AUX cable connector from the pod? You wouldn't need to even see it.

You could do that too. I come in contact with a bunch of wiring that I don't have diagrams for so I have to start probing :)

Hahaha something like that. Center console latch broke, this was my fix. Lock was just a plus.
