Got bored with some left over Plasti Dip, I dipped my Gf's Chrome pieces to "Electric Lime Green", with the tiny bit left i decide to try the Pearlizer over Lime green on my grill piece.

I got tired of having crappy wiring on my Snugtop, so I re did it. My biggest thing was being able to run without my shell and have the connectors protected from the elements.

I installed a mill spec connector in the bed with a custom harness to connect to the tail light.

    Here's the connector closed.

    And open.

I used some of the existing wiring from the tail light to the custom harness. This way I can remove the light if needed. I still need to work on the power cable that goes to the battery (black in the photo).

The custom harness with sleeving and heat shrink.

I'll get another pic up of the shell wiring when I put it back on.

Next up, I finally mounted up my Ultra Gauge (took it out of the cup holder), installed a bluetooth handsfree and cleaned up my iPhone wiring.

I got a RAM mount to hold the phone with support clips to keep the cables tidy. The UG is run down through the same place as my brake controller. All the wiring is out of sight and clean!

Here's the bluetooth mic and control. I mounted it in the center behind my steering wheel and cable runs through the back.

@Above, u should do a write up on how u wire that UG!!
I wanted to buy the UG during the recent GB, but i didnt because i couldn't decide on a place where it will be easy to look at and hide away the wire....

Did u run the wire into the AC vent? Because i dont see it at all at ur picture

The photo is a little deceiving now that I look at it. I'll take some more pics tomorrow when there's more light.

The cable runs down into the little pocket under the 4x4 switch. I have my trailer brake controller there. The cable then runs through a hole in the back then to the OBD-II connector.

Wire is tucked under the front edge of the headliner to the A-Pillar, down the A-Pillar, and into the OBD-II port.

Keep in mind that the UG is hardwired to the connector, so any opening the wire has to pass through needs to be large enough to pass the OBD-II connector.

Quite a few have done it.
It's held on with some heat-melted pins, so it's just a matter of carefully working the pins and popping it off.
    Reinstallation needs glue.

I really like the wheels and front emblem. Love the black and red theme. The tailgate is different, but I gotta say i'm not a huge fan. Reminds me too much of the Blackwood.
Way to try something new tho :)

Thanks everyone. Yeah I'm still not totally sold on the Tacoma on the tailgate. Reminds me of the Blackwood too and I don't know if I like it yet. But that's how it shall look for now.
