16x8 König Countersteers installed. Helps to push the tire away from the UCA after I had the lift installed. Drives like a dream. Alignment to be done tomorrow!

Were they hard to install? Have to drill any holes? Now that I have a lift, and I'm only 5'4" it's hard to get the hood up high enough to get that damn stick thingy in the hole! :annoyed:

You'll need to drill a few holes but nothing too bad. One of the best mods you can do IMHO. Cheap too.

4 holes in the hood, 4 holes in the fender.
    Measure 4 times, drill once.

You will need a pop-rivet tool that can handle the large rivets, and the drill bit needed for those rivets is an odd size, but you can go next size smaller and egg it out.

I didn't want a winch system that would alter the truck. I already owned this winch, a hidden winch, (which is nice, don't get me wrong) would have required a new winch and permanently altering the truck. I probably won't keep the truck long enough to make that worth while. I bought this winch mount because I can remove it in an hour or so, and it was bolt on. I didn't have to cut any bumpers, or sub bumper structure, or drill any holes in the frame, it bolts into existing frame holes. Like I said earlier, this truck isn't going to be used for hard core off roading so approach angle isn't a concern for me. The winch is more for emergencies than anything else...

    Oh... I like/want/need...

Could've almost used it, too... Upon my 5yo son's insistence last night, I slowly drove through a 'puddle' that was on the shoulder of an out of the way city-managed parkway. Not off the shoulder on the grass - part of the shoulder. It was *maybe* about 12 feet long and 4 feet wide? But it was far deeper than expected, and the bottom started to give way. The truck listed enough to give me a little shot of adrenaline and that 'oh shit' feeling. Felt the rear start to dig and lose traction in 2wd (diff was unlocked). 4wd pulled me out without issue, but wow, any unsuspecting car is going to high-center on that or at least get well and truly stuck for sure.
