I haven't looked at my wheel weights but Firestone had a hell of a time balancing my tires last time they did. Though my tires are missing chunks all over from wheeling in lava rocks and are worn unevenly from not being able to keep an alignment...

    Got another package today:D

Oem rack and skid plate. Install was pretty easy. LH side was tricky due to bracket being a little off. All in all I like both.

I know it says that it fits 2011 and newer Tacos, but would it fit the 2010? Wasn't aware of any changes to the shifter threads.

Your guess is as good as mine unfortunately. I would just try searching google to see if they changed the threads over the years.

If it fits a 2011 it should fit the older models. No real interior changes in 2011

    1) Have installer turn tire on rim 180 degrees...80 percent of the time this
makes a huge difference in the amount of weight to balance correctly!

    2) Ask the installer the last time balancer was calibrated...more than 60
    days...not good!

    3) If tire & rim requires more than 5 ounces total combined in weights,
and 1 & 2 above have been accomplished, request a replacement tire!

In the front-page thumbnail picture, I thought the platform was a coffin.

Most Toyota, Lexus and Scion (except the FR-S) auto gated shifters have the same 8mm thread. You have a lot of choices. :) There's even a light-up Scion tC shift knob with solar panel if you want to be fancy: http://i1126.photobucket.com/albums/l612/ntm1028/photo45_zps8c51f048.jpg

I got a Lexus IS-F Sport shift knob (PN PTR51-53080) as my first mod back in 2010:

Installed a Cobra CB radio (C75 WXST). Will adjust the SWR tomorrow. Thanks to TW threads, was able to access areas to run the wiring in existing runs without breaking anything (which is a minor miracle for me!) Only shed a little blood, which seems to be necessary for any worthwhile installation.
