The app is called Dual GPS status Tool. Its put out by the manufacturer of this gps unit. Pretty sure it wont work with anything but this unit.

2 more days till I get a black Ipad mini. It will look much better. The radio is controlled thru the ipad mini with an App from Sony so access to the radio isn't necessary.

Here's the bulb. Not automotive, but like a desk or under cabinet one. Super easy & 2x as bright. Not as bright as the 886 mod, but I shouldn't melt my housings with these.

Hard to say really. I guess it depends on your skill level as a body and paint guy. For myself it felt like a 8 but I have little patience for sanding and blending. I used fiberglass to make the tray using my wifes ipad mini as the mold. Then trimmed the panel down to fit inside the bezel using Plastic epoxy to bond it on. Then used bondo to fill in the gaps and shape it to the bezel, lots of sanding(ugh) then paint. Check out the last 4 pages of my build thread to see the progress of it and notice that I started on the 7th of December and I just finished it today. Mostly because I have such little patience for sanding shit to make it look nice so I did just a little bit a day. But I understand now why places/people charge between 400-600 bucks to do this. Its very time consuming to do it right. Mine has a few flaws but it does what I want it to do and with that i'm happy.

Installed the IMMRYO mirror relocation bracket. Much better, especially on a clover-leaf freeway on-ramp!

Haven't even had my taco 2 weeks and I already have a "to do" list.

Did the bicycle reflector mount, hard wired my radar detector to my fuse box. I tried cleaning up the wiring in my fuse box rather than have a huge mess for when I get to install my viper alarm. While I was at it I figured I'd give thieves the finger and make my tailgate harder to steal, I plan on getting the pop n lock soon, figure most thieves aren't going to be carrying around all the tools need to steal my tailgate. All that matters is they go on to the next tailgate and leave mine alone.

Also after working in a body shop I know how annoying locking lug nuts are to remove without the key, with a new set of tires running over 700 dollars installed; I want piece of mind about my tires.
