    Put the Timbren rear bumpstops on, wow those are some stiff guys, I thought they had a little give to them. Maybe I bought the wrong ones, there was two available, one with 6000 lb capacity, the other with 3000 lb capacity (

    TORTUN4L part numbers). I bought the 6000 lb'rs. Easy install, loosen the Ubolts, remove the stock bumpstops held down by the Ubolts, slide the Timbrens in, retighten the Ubolts. I had a load in the bed so I jacked the frame up a little bit to get good clearance for the install.


    Stock bumpstops are 3", Timbrens are 6".

    Took the break in the cold to do a much needed flushing of the underside. Got all that nasty salt off. At least until I leave the driveway again!
