What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I did the "Dodge mirror (towing) mod" about two or more weeks ago that was first done by 05silverTaco. Saturday I did the "get rid of that squeak" mod by using spray instead of the grease method (haven't posted my pics on the post yet). I did the "washable cabin air filter" mod on Sunday (haven't posted my pics yet on that post). And today I replaced both of my two front tires w/ new ones after 17,000 miles.

 

Why did the two front tires need replacing after 17K mi, and why not all 4?

 

Bought some new brake pads. Haven't put em on yet, but I've got em.

Axles remeasured this weekend so they should be on soon!

 

New stereo installed!

 

New alternator (well, refurb..) damned muddy water.

 

Finished installing my ToyTec coilovers to finish the ultimate lift ..
Oh, and I screwed up a tie-rod. Now I have to leave it on the jack stands until the part comes in hopefully tomorrow

 

finished the tow hitch. just gotta put on the mounting brackets for the license plate and paint it. good to finally be almost done

 

Changed passenger side CV boots. Never again will I replace boots alone. It a whole half shaft next time...

 

Changed oil.

Adjusted rear brakes.

Removed steering wheel and realigned it.

Put a new boot on my driver's side tie rod (tore it up offroad)

New air filter

 

Washed, clay barred, waxed, vacuumed and 303'd.

On Sunday I added a 3" spacer lift to the front. And today I changed the front diff oil and the T-case oil with 75W90 Castrol synthetic

 

I debadged and painted the emblems black. Deciding on what I want to do with them

 

Hey look at that! No Brakes! Guess it's time for new pads. First brake pad change around 38,000 miles and I went with OEM pads. Now 78,500 miles and time for another set. Rotors are still well within specs. Time for new brake pads

 

Washed the exterior and vaccumed the interior

 

I don't know if the previous owner changed them on mine or not, but I've put almost 50K on mine, and it has 72K on it total, and I just bought new pads sometime last week. Still haven't had time to put them on. Somethin seems wrong there, unless you're haulin a heavy load a lot.
