New oem cabin and engine air filters today

 

I took it and the wife shooting today. They both did well.

 

Had my new 285/70/17 Duratraks installed today! So far so good. Same size as my BFG AT KOs that are now for sale in the tire and wheel marketplace!

just bought arb bumper and warn m8000 winch yesterday and put it all together last night and this moring!!! oh and also new cooper stt 285/75/16 about a week ago. EDIT: also putting the sliders on this up coming weekend!!!1

 

IMO...best looking, functional bumper out there! Solid. Looks great

 

I totally agree. I love my ARB. I think the only down side is that there are no recovery points. I may end up changing that down the road.

See on the 1st gen model it has 2 d-ring points! Idk why they didn't put them on the 2nd gens! Bit still great bumper

 

I heard someone say that after the 1st gens they found that the Tacoma frame was too inferior to handle the recovery points and it would ruin the frame.

 

I thought I also heard recovery points aren't put on ARB's because of the special frame mounts they use as crumple zones, and people who had recovery points were bending those mounts when using the bumper as a recovery point.

 

Ya, but I don't really get that explination since they still allow you to mount a winch.

 

Not today, but yesterday made an organizer for my center console. SalesX are a great price, but I'm inpatient. Plus I like the satisfaction of DIY

 

Yeah true. Maybe recovery points off to the side create more uneven pulling and leverage on the mounts and a bad recovery enhances bending?

Nothing recently, it goes in for its first oil change on wednesday.

I will be checking the drain plug, dip stick, oil cap and filter before even pulling out of the parking lot thanks to many threads on here

 

Going that far, you might as well put the oil in too!!

 

check your lug nuts as well, been a few threads about tires falling off.

 

Mounted my shovel using Quick Fist and Super Strut spring-nuts on the bed-rail.
