My latest project is the installation of a gear basket on my rigid tri-fold tonneau cover. It consists of a LoadWarrior with extension, spare tire bracket, 48" bars, control towers and landing pads #6....All from Yakima. Visibility with my rear view mirror is certainly compromised and my tonneau will no longer flip and fold without removing the system but I'm really digging the setup.

Glad you like it Spencer...I did indeed drill the cover. I picked it up used off a local site and didn't pay a lot of money for it. I also got the bright idea last winter to try to beat a bunch of ice off of it with my ice scraper and dented to shit out of it so I thought what the heck. My thoughts are that if I ever remove the rack system I'll find some plugs for the holes.

The downside with leaving a hook or hitch in like, it that is creates a leverage point and will greatly increase your chances of your frame getting bent when you get rear ended...

Apparently in some states (I think PA is one of them) insurance can deny your coverage for doing stuff like that as well, or turn around and sue your for the extra damage caused by doing that.

Bingo! PA will deny coverage if a tow ball or anything is installed

Did the Anytime DTRL and Anytime Fog Light Mods. I have ZERO electrical experience and it took me less than 20 minutes to complete both. Awesome mods, highly recommended!

I don't know about insurance, but I'm pretty sure its not illegal to do so in PA. I've done a lot of searching on that, because specialy during winter I keep my D ring receiver in there for helping people out if a big snow. I wonder how insurance can deny coverage for something if its not illegal? :notsure:
