This morning gave the Taco a good wash of all the splattered bugs from last weekend's road trip then later installed my new Bakflip F1 and dropped in a bed mat and some door sill protectors.

8 weeks? :) I put 5K on in a month if not more.. maybe 5 weeks max. Thank god I've got a company vehicle to put the mileage on instead of the Taco. The Taco gets changed every 5k.. TRD filter + pennzoil full syn.

As for what I did today.. LR UCAs, lower ball joints and torqued my back all outta shape. Oh broke a 1/2" S&K ratchet too... damned castle nuts. Going to do the steering rack bushings this coming weekend, then get her aligned for good. My friend helped me, he also works at an alignment shop, so he managed to get it pretty good for the time being.. no pulling.. the steering wheel is crooked, but I can live with it for now. :D

Oh, I found out that I managed to bend the passenger side lower balljoint.. yes, bent it. Buggered for fair.. lol

My daily commute is less than 1 mile...Monday through Friday I'm lucky if I add 50 miles to the truck. That 4500 is mostly weekends out playing

Spark plugs and cleaned the throttle body, which looked like it had never been done in 160k miles. At least the plugs weren't original since they were all NGK-R's.

I also feel retarded since I put the intake tube back on without first removing the paper towel I had stuffed in the throttle body. It took a few minutes to realize why it wouldn't idle down lol.

Used the factory touch up paint and covered all the paint chips and finished spraying the underneath bare metal spots with rustoleum textured black paint.

You will need to remove the foglight assembly and use a hair dryer to dry it out. This will take some time.

You will also need to figure out how the moisture got in there and seal up the crack in the lens assembly or clean the rubber grommet on the bulb assembly.

It is a real PITA to fix right but it can be done.

Not today but yesterday I went out into the bush to take some pictures. Road started to get rally bad so I figured since I'm by myself and not planing 4 wheeling anyway I'll just turn around instead and take pictures back a ways down the road. Turning around I drove into a big hole on the passenger side I couldn't see. Like bottomed right out. Woops. Kind of funny. It was all of a sudden a three wheel. Never needed to put it in 4 wheel drive to get out though. It was bone dry. If it was wet it would have been a different story.
