I'm not usually into stickers on the truck, but I like this. Custom? Where can I get one?

Not the fanciest thing anyone has done, but I put on a Yakima Rack system today. Have a pair of Mako saddles to snap onto the bars and my rig will be ready to transport kayaks in the spring and summer.

Got the bed mat & D rings delivered, so I tinkered with that today. Elected to go with 3" round cut outs for the center bolts. Used the cut out material to fill void under the front of the mat where I used the front bolts to secure the mat. In retrospect I would probably go with a slightly bigger hole saw cut. 3 and a quarter or 3 and a half. 3 was pretty tight and left no room for error. The other day I did some ghetto plastic welding on my rear plate lamp. It was damaged back when I was rear ended and until I can build the bumper I want I'm making due with the stocker since it hardly has any tweak to it. The plastic let the head of the screw pop through leaving a plastic collar still on the screw. So I glued it back on and then used a small black zip tie and a soldering iron and did some make shift plastic welding. Was very surprised how strong it held.

Removed the fenders and mud flaps. Filled the holes with bolts w/ a nut on the back. Buzz sanded and Rhino lined over the fenders and over the rocker panel.

I made the decision to buy a 4 cyl P.O.S (piece of shit) Jetta to take me back and forth to work (100 Kms each way). My Tacoma now has 4700 kms and I'm happy to say its parked now and only used for FUN. Now to save up for Mods!:D
