Changed the rear diff fluid to Quaker State 75W140 today. The socket-head drain- and fill plugs I installed 3 winters ago are still holding up well.

Fill plug (same as front diff) is in surprisingly good shape. Drain plug (All-Pro P/N 7700-AP with magnet) has more rust, but gave no hint of rounding.

    IMG_6863+hex+plug+front_24dc3f05fa5688d2cb6bde61c82857888d117569.jpg IMG_6862+hex+plug+back_1d7b229de41f8757b1e3662e42981e9cdae6709d.jpg

Also lowered the spare tire for the first time ever. The winch moved smoothly and the cable had no rust on it. The steel plate going thru the wheel center was also in good condition. However, the winch cable end terminal was heavily rusted, so I gave it a few blasts of black rust paint.

That's what I talking about. I've got right at 80 on my 08. Surely I can get at least 300 out of her

Hilariously enough, the 4Lo on the Taco is lower than 4Lo was on my Jeep Wrangler.

Hmm, never thought to compare the two. I have a 6 spd and 4lo 1st gear is pretty awesome though.

First nice weather we've seen in awhile where i live, decided to shine her up and my new rims just happen to come in this morning as well. 17" mayhem riots. Also put the devil horns on yesterday. Thinking about removing the bug deflector, the more i see it in my pictures the more it bugs me
