Tech is Friday, September 10th and the race is the 11th. I'm racing with the first group, starting at 6am. Sucks getting up that early, but it's cool to have the afternoon free to watch the trophy trucks. :)

clean taco! almost - as I was washing I discovered that my truck is covered in a metric ton of road tar from the one construction zone I had to cross through on my 1,000 mile journey last weekend. Off to search for the best tar removal method...

Oh, and dug up the bottle champagne that will be opened when the odometer rolls over to 50,000..at 49,992 now...woo hoo!

Slow day at the shop so I pulled my truck in and adjusted my rear drums a little. Pedal just seemed a little low. Much happier now, much better feel.

Stoped on over at the new "free vac/$4 car wash" wash place down the street. Good place.

Installed the Access LE tonneau cover.

Advice for the day: grease the crap out of the bolts when installing the rails, makes it so, so much easier to do.
