Did the diff breather mod today. Didn't have the cubby hole, so I couldn't easily put it in the fuel filler area so I put it behind the tail light.

Used a rubber coated clamp attached to a harness bracket.

Used an existing bolt for the bed and just put a nut on it.

I'll bet it's that freakin' "lock-back" feature on the newer Tacomas. If you unlock the doors with the key fob and don't open a door within 15 or 30 seconds or something, it automatically locks the doors back. I put a power Pop-N-Lock on my tailgate and have gone into the tailgate to load stuff without opening any of the doors. I haven't done this yet, but if you were to do that and put the keys down in the bed, then shut the tailgate, that auto-lock feature can get you.

Gotta find out how to disable that bastard.

Ooops! Sorry, I always just assume, but I should look and will now lol. But yeah, OTRATTW has some nice spdt switches, I got one for my reverse lights(on with reverse/off/on whenever). You could also just get cheap universal ones from EBay, Amazon, superbrightleds.com or ozmium.com

LOL. I'm guiltily of the same. I'm on the TW mobile sight on my phone 99.9% of the time, and it doesn't show info.

And cool, that would be a nice option being able to turn bed lights on or off from either cab or bed.

Well being able to do that is a little different I think, I'd have to think about that one, but I think it would work. Have a spdt switch in cab then a spst (single pole single throw) in a bed pocket. Would still have to have the cab switch flipped the right way then. Maybe have 2 separate relays and switches

Yeah. There has to be something similar to a 3-way switch in a house out there. That's what I was thinking about. With power to one, then the "jumper" or "traveler" wire to each other. If you're familiar with that.

I was thinking either a hot lead from both switches, or just run them in a series type setup where the switch in the cab has to be on for the switch in the bed to work. I'm still debating just how I want my bed lights to be switched on.

Already had front spacers and decided I couldn't take the bro lean anymore. Progressive rear AAL installed. Turned out pretty nice and seems to ride nice too.
