What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Aside from that...less expensive? Jesus, URD/DT Y-pipes run like $400 to $500. That's about what I'm paying for the whole job, labor and all.

 

My guy says cant get these Yokos until 11/ 5...maybe ,damn ! Maybe General Grabber AT2 ? Any suggestions ?

Febreezed the sht out of the interior.

 

I did a little more research, and indeed the URD/DT Y-pipe will pass emissions because the ECU apparently only monitors the front cats, so the rears can be eliminated.

My concern is messing with exhaust scavenging too much. I know with DT *long tube* headers, people lose low-end torque because of eliminating the front cats and altering the exhaust scavenging.

I'm not sure if eliminating the rear cats will have the same effect to a lesser degree (probably not), but you're right, it will pass emissions.

A PM explaining how you got an aftermarket Y-pipe for 275 would be much appreciated, because that'd just be a bolt up job one the Shorties are on.
