Installed some JL TR690-TXi and TR650-CXi. The sound quality is deff an improvement over stock. Next upgrade is an amp to get the most out of the RMS handing and sub behind the rear seats...

I believe that you will be ok *read that somewhere on here*. If you are worried about it, then drive in the rain for awhile, pop your hood and check your air box. If it's wet, then you may want to consider putting the plate back in.
