Puts your diff breather up higher so the chances of water getting in are less. If your truck is never going to be in water I wouldn't worry about relocating it.

    nothing cool
I really need to do this rear diff breather mod. Doubt I'll go through deep water. But maybe loading a boat or jet skis into the lake? I bet the water goes close or over the rear diff.

Why did you cut them? I'm probably going to use 3m double side tape

Found out that my pops' 2008 reg cab 4x4 is having the frame inspected. 28k miles on it and garage kept, I think it'll be fine. Although, a new frame would be nice.

Because I have issues and seeing the black part holding the letters together on my grill would have driven me bat shit.

That's what I ended up doing. Trimmed the mounting tabs off the back and covered it in 3M. Been on there for around a year with no problems.

What did I do to my Tacoma today?
I bought it. I traded a 2003 Tacoma in on this.
23 miles on it so far.
    So far so good.

    IMG_7446_e984a9ffdff57753f54aad4cc3d53e5ba534931d.jpg

I had not planned on getting rid of my 03 for a couple more years. But Toyota made me buy a new one because 2014 is the last year for Reg Cab.

Why is it so short? Seems like it's missing a cab or partial cab here :D

Just just giving you a hard time lol. The short truck looks great and the color

That's OK. I have thick skin! This is my 3rd Toyota Reg Cab but I am pretty sure it will be my last! I don't need anything bigger. I put toppers on all 3 and just put all my crap in back. Looking for an A.R.E topper on Craiglist no luck so far in my area. So I will prolly just buy a new one,,,,,,,,
