What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

For the last few years seems like most of California is heading East to Idaho/Montana. Much like someone opened the fucking gate and left a granola trail.

Hell I feel like it's been like that most of my life!

 

did this over the weekend... Saturday was the homertaco ghost raptor install, and sunday was the behind the grill hellas.

 

I did the anytime fog light mod a few weeks ago, but I did it a little different than others. I didn't like the idea of bending the tab on the relay, or grabbing power from that green wire people talked about. Instead I just built a little "jumper harness", using the power from the center pin of the relay, which goes to the lights and has power all the time, to power both the load and the control sides of the relay, then connecting both of the other pins to their original terminals. To secure it I used a piece of double sided tape to hold the relay down and keep it from bouncing around. The only downside is the fogs can be turned on literally ANY time, even with the truck off, so you have to pay attention, otherwise you could kill the battery.

 

Yep and I am almost twice your age. Funny, many move here because of political issue, quality of life or cost of real estate then within a year they are complaining about local laws, raising gang banger kids and complaining about the cows next door all while saying "this isn't how its done in Cali".

 

Time to fence off the state... but yeah I know how you feel...

I have yet to meet anybody from Cali that I like... but I have only met a hand full so I try to stay open minded.

 

The land directly above and adjacent to where the gas companies are doing all the fracking.

It's a nice place to visit....just don't drink the water....or hold a match to it.
