    1. Removed TRD exhaust from my truck
    2. Removed stock from sons truck
    3. Installed my TRD exhaust on sons truck
    4. Installed sons nice quiet stock exhaust on my truck.

We're both happy now! I'm old, he's 19... Only made sense!

Funny thing is I had horrible drone with the TRD in my '14 DC but it sounds much better on sons '15 AC. I would say that he has little to no drone and the exhaust note is better as well? Makes me wonder if my dealer installed TRD had an exhaust leak that was corrected when I reinstalled on sons truck?

OR his long bed puts it in a slightly "different" place, just further from the beginning of his cab. Less drone gets into the cab possibly. Or his is sound deadened more.

Thats my biggest issue with it to. I mean im not a huge off-roader or anything, but just dont want alot of gravel getting thrown into my paint.

I've also been procrastinating on doing this. I may just trim my fronts down, as time to time I scrape them against something cause they are so damn long.

First thing I did with my first tacoma 09 acc cab was have the ground rip the front mud flap off backing into my yard to load up firewood...

First thing I did to my new one was cut down mud flaps front and rear. Trimmed the rear at the top of the 4x4 logo and matched the front.

Made a template of the bottom with cardboard and a marker. I cut using tin snips came out great. Still protects the majority only minor splash on the paint so far so good.

I think you've hit the head on the nail with the different bed/cab configuration. my truck has rustproof and sound deadening added (Complete waste of money if you ask me).

My center console cover had a few dings in it so I sanded it down and hit it with Rustoleum hammered finish paint.
