Yep, they're a great tool but always be on point when using them.

Put in New switches for the lights and wired the winch for in the cab. I didn't think it through but after I put the switches and tried to put the shifter cover back on I realized I made a huge mistake and should have moved the winch switches about an inch further back cause it was on top of the shifter assemble. So after 30 min with a dremel and file I modified the back of the shifter assembly enough to that the switches could go into place.

Two HD series amps? One for sub, and a 4 channel for the doors? Did you replace the head unit? I had a JL system in my old truck, I loved it. Nice setup.

Thanks! I really wanted to put together something nice this time around. I've been using the JL HD's for a couple years and I absolutely love them. Nice clean efficient power in a small form factor. The speakers are new to me, but I've heard great things about them.

I just got everything installed this weekend but still need to tune.

    Here are the full specs.

    Head Unit
    Kenwood Excelon DNX9990HD

    Amps
    JL HD 600.4
    JL HD 750.1

    Speakers
    HAT Clarus 6.5
    HAT Imagine 6.5

    Subwoofer
    JL 13TW5v2-4

Finally got a bed mat. The factory Toyota part, cutouts for the rear bed tie downs. Best price I found was Amazon.com

Nice choices. What sub are you going with? I've got a 13.5" W5 powered by a JL Slash 500/1 in a sealed enclosure, Pioneer AVH-X5600BHS (best SQ and EQ I can find to date) and tuned in with Steave Meade DD-1. It sounds freakin awesome. That little sub sure can hit a real wide range of notes.

I'd love to get a second W5 and 1200/1 JL HD.

Installed redline hood struts. This should have really been one of the first mods that I did.
