What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Got around to removing my stock mud flaps today. I'm amazed at how much better the truck looks without them.

Will hook it up as a momentary switch to operate the horn. Maybe hook up a smaller push pad for the steering wheel and hide the remote behind the air bag.

Yes, I checked the forums and the relay, it's a problem with the clock spring.

 

Got my front lift done.... Rides 10x better then stock!












Sitting at about a 1.5" lift will crank it up tomarrow when I get the back done... Anybody know where I can find the grade 8 bolt for the diff drop? the ones I got are too long, and dont feel like waiting for them to ship them... thanks!

 

Nice! You don't need the diff drop. It doesn't do much. If you are set on using it then check out your local fastenal. They have every bolt imaginable.

I got some new pro comp wheels (16x10) that did not fit. Hopefully 4wheelparts will exchange them for some 16x8.

Got my Toytec AAL last week and my 5100s from Wheelers came in today. Gotta wait till Christmas though to get em.

 

Installed new Firestone Destination ATs, replacing the stock LEs. Added about an inch to the height, looks like a proper truck now. Heading up to the mountains in the Apache Wilderness area with lots of snow to try 'em out!

 

Are these 2"or 2.5"? How much were they?

no problem. They also have rigging gear. I got my d-rings there. They are rated for 7 tons while most of it's size are rated at 4.5 tons.

 

Doing the DTRL today, and possibly help the tick not sure though.

 

New passenger side wheel bearings and changed the 1/2" lift spacer to a 7/8" spacer on both sides. I have had the OME 886 springs for about 2 years (over 40,000 miles) and I have the 200lb ARB front bumper and the 10k Winch with cable adds about another 100lbs, so with extra 300lbs up front, the springs have sagged some. This spacer brings it back up and keeps my tires from rubbing the body.

Also did the debadge, just the tailgate.

Took off the SR5 and the V6, and the toyota.

bought my friends new unused black taillights (flipped his tacoma last weekend ) And hopefully putting them on tommorow!!
