I installed a GROM iPhone adaptor today. Super easy! Thought I was in for a major headache. Also installed a Pop-n-Lock tailgate lock, which was painless as well. I will sleep better at night knowing it has a lock on it. Ive heard the next big thing thieves rob off trucks in Chicago are the tailgates.

Started today with U-Joints, and then changed out the carrier bearing, and finshied up with a transmission drain and fill. My truck now rides as smooth as it did 5 years ago, amazing what a little TLC can do to fix vibrations. took all day, but it was well worth it.

Installed new shocks on the Taco for my B-day present to myself. Just got a leveling set-up of Ranchos; quickLIFT on the fronts and RS9000XL on the back. It came with a remote to "dial-in" the stiffness, but I left that project for another day. I got about 1.5" lift in the front after it settled. The first front install took for ever as Murphy's Law was in full force. After that I had it figured out and did the other front in about half an hour. The rears were a piece of cake.

I am happy with the appearance of this mod with my Duratracs. Hopefully we will get some snow in the Denver metro area to see how the new set-up handles.
