Over the last two days I replaced my spark plugs, changed engine oil, greased the drivelines and uca`s, rotated the tires, cleaned the throttle body, maf sensor and replaced the lca`s with dormans because the bushings were shot in the originals.

Truck now has 102k on it. Feels new. Just need an alignment although its pretty close. Marked the caster and camber tabs before I dismantled the front.

The lca`s were a bitch. Had to cut them out with a sawzall. Had all new hardware in preparation.

Did all the work at self service garage in Kent washington. Charged me ten bucks and hour for a bay. Floor jacks and stands are free to use. Good place operated by stand up guys. Would recommend.

I dont know what he used but you can get a can of throttlebody cleaner at any auto parts store. An old toothbrush, but not so old the bristles are falling out.

I did my rear diff fluid change this evening with the help of the tread stickies at the top. Super easy, now I just need to do the transfer case and front diff.

I like that mat, Dick. Looks way less of a pain in the dick than the OEM molding.

    Shouldn't you be in bed?

It's the exact same type I've had since my 93, which I threw in my 01.

Hey, so these Dunlop AT 20s. Is it just me, or are they horrible on grooved concrete pavements at highway speeds? Dead straight good highway, felt like I was being buffeted left and right by crosswinds. WTF?

Mine were great until 20k. No floating like you experience, at least that I can remember.

Jesus, I really hope it is just the crappy tires. Never felt anything like it before. Zero weight in the back. But still.

Throw some weight in and see if it goes away. If it helps, it seems like they sell on CL kinda okay

Mine were the same way from day one - felt like I was driving over bridge grating. Made it to just over 700 miles before I could get rid of them 1st opportunity.

Put in new CB antenna bracket and cable. Hope it works now - VSWR down to 1.2 -1.3:1 high and low, but on my way home couldn't get a radio check. Almost nobody on to begin with. Oh well, will check it in the morning with some guys on our Big Bear run.

Yea, I searched for Dunlop AT20 and almost every hit was a FS thread. I thought the same thing about weight, but that is just wrong to "have" to do. Clear, dry, flat. level, good surface at 70 mph...and my head and shoulders were being lightly buffeted. I seriously held back from a pack of vehicles just to eliminate the possibility it was being caused by airflow from them, because that is how it felt. And this seemed unique to the concrete surfaces, and if I am not mistaken, it was always grooved. Never noticed it on asphalt.
Thanks for the input. Yeah, I've already been shopping, even before this little episode.

Before I hit the trail I changed oil and removed sway bar as well.
