What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Removed the charcoal air filter and cut the tailpipe just past the differential. Then I filled her up with gas.

 

Painted my front Emblem black... looks way better!

changed plugs
replaced passenger side view mirror

 

changed plugs, oil, rotated tires, installed AFE intake.

 

I didnt go by a thread, just used some flat black paint and a couple coats of clear.
Also made sure to use a adhesion promotor.

 

I clean the interior of my truck and cut the radio antena

 

I tossed in an aFe Pro 7 CAI last night. I cant tell much of a power gain, but it sure sounds better. Putting on the flowmaster cat back on Monday.

 

ordered an assload of shit for it today and drove it less than 1 mile

 

Installed Hella xeon headlights, nice and bright 100w/80w

 

color matched t-rex eye lids and mounted a ''taco" emblem

Are they the t rex 1,2, or 3 eyelids

 

thanks its just primer but had to make a trip to the store for more white paint and couldn’t resist putting it on

Same here. I washed it, used 2 coats of adhesion promoter first, followed by 3 coats of Krylon Fusion black, then 3 coats of clear coat. It's been on there for 2 months, 75+ miles of highway driving a day, and not a single chip on the paint yet.

 

2 things...made my first payment aaannnddd tried to buff out the bumper after apparently being scrapped by a white vehicle somewhere! Just found it when I gave it a bath. Can't buff it out! Scratched too deep.
