Last week...fresh Mobil 1 and filter, K&N OEM replacement air filter.

    Today...
-Picked up a free Leer cap from a coworker (former owner of a 95-00 Taco), -in need of a little TLC
-Installed Hurst t-handle shift knob (a sentimental reminder of my father's 87 Toy pickup (may she Rust In Pieces)
-Bought camo colored rattle cans and assorted painting goodies to slap a redneck paintjob on new bed cap
-Bought window visors, waiting on warm day to wash the truck and install them
-added a few new battle scars during installation of Leer cap

all in all, a good day!

Gave my new Taco it's first bath today. After picking it up last Saturday it rained on it 15 minutes after I got it home and it has been spitting rain until today. The weather guesser's say clear for a few days.

Plan on taking some pics this evening when the sun is less intense. Will post later

Today I bathed it, installed window visors, put 20% tint on all around, and dabbed a few nicks with touchup. Can't let those dings get rusty....living in Boston, parking on the water several days a week!

Tint looks ok...botched one window (damn wind got the film!) and I ran out of film. Have to pick up some more and redo that one.

Unfortunately, I'm leaving my taco for 2 months for deployment. I guess that's time to plan/save $ for further toys!
