Well, I almost screwed it up. Standard 5 pole relay. Power from the switch to terminal 85. Terminal 86 to ground. Constant 12v to rock lights. Ground from lights to terminal 30. terminal 87a to dome trigger. 87 to ground. when dome lights turn on, 87a is grounded, turning lights on. When switch is turned on, 87 is now connected to 30, completing the ground path.

I knew what I wanted to do. Just stumbled trying to figure out the wiring. I am not used to using the relay for switching ground. I always use relays to switch power.

Sorry if this is common knowledge but, I went to auto zone a few days ago to get a Haynes manual for my 2013 and they told me that it was only available on cd and was like $200. I went home and went to the Haynes website and found this. $20

I also got free Toyota Care with my 2015, but they didn't change my oil at 5k miles. They checked the fluids, rotated tires, etc. but told me my truck used synthetic so only get oil changed every 10k miles. Currently have around 5200 miles on it.

Ya that bubble popped up when I test fit it. Hit it with the heat gun 2 more times to double check it after that and it tightened right up. Its not hard just time consuming and takes a steady hand thats it. Plus its no risk... Dont like it? peel it right off

do i need to pop off the whole door panels to get the window/locks control plastic frame off? i'm not against having to do it, but would prefer not to if i can avoid it.
