What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I know someone glittery who would approve!

 

Installed a 2" rough country leveling kit. I know, I know, a lot of you out there don't like this product but I don't go off road and have not noticed the slightest decrease in on road ride quality. Also you can't beat the price for a great improvement in stance. Also found a stock Tacoma at the gas station to get a picture. Now to wait for my tires to get worn down so I have an excuse to go bigger. I'll be doing a lot of this in the near future lol

 

Project for tomorrow. No more water in the rear diff.

 

Here's one to NOT DO

I put leds in the third brake light, and now the abs and traction lights come on at random. Wtf

 

Yep. I just put them in earlier at work along with reverse lights. Sumbitchin lights come on now. Took a while to put 2 and 2 together.....after I called the stealership. Checked the web, and others have had the same problem with other vehicles

 

I use a leaf blower lol

 

I was thinking the same thing. Got a nice commercial grade Shindawa that should do the job just fine.

 

I worked on water cooled mainframe computers in the navy. Talk about a nightmare.

I think the deal with these bulbs is the resistance, and the brake system being sensitive. Screw it. I took them out. Will find out soon enough if I'm right. Gonna let the dealership earn some warranty money hunting for a phantom. Need an oil change anyway

Yep me too. Took me longer to get the tools out and put away than it did to install. I ran mine up behind the driver side tail light. I figure if that tail light ever has water behind it I got way more problems than the diff!!!

Fenders look great. But those are the shiniest tires I've seen in years.

I put 5100's set at 2 1/2" and AAL in the rear. I also have air bags so I can level exactly how I want. Even when towing.

 

What did you use for the fishing pole mod??

 

I installed this today. I've had my truck for a month and a half and this is my first mod. Yoda's light saber for my Yota! Gotta love useless nerdy interior mods!

Fleshlight probably has that mold in developement. You might be able to DIY something once it is released.
