What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

How far is that ?

I just took mine for an 800 mile trip and that's the longest so far. No complaints here. Averaged 23-24 mpg and comfort was pretty damn good for a truck

 

That sounds extremely tempting lol. Would save me 100 bucks

 

It's stretchy like a bungee cord, higher quality than I would have expected for the price. I plan to run paracord between the drings to break the net area into sections, so it doesn't sag in the middle.

EDIT: You should use the insurance money for the bumper towards a sweet plate bumper from SOS concepts.

 

That sucks, same thing happened to a buddy of mine in a parking lot. Dick weed that hit him didn't leave any info either.

 

Did the parking lot have any surveillance cameras? Maybe you can at least tell what kind of vehicle it was that did the damage. Did you at least get a police report?

Yes sir, they are 1.25.. It pushed them out a little further than I was thinking but I sure as hell am not complaining lol

No cameras,no note, no nothing. The bumper has a shit ton of rubber on it so its a pretty tall vehicle. The mounts are pretty bent that attach the bumper to the frame. Hope the rear frame is still square

 

A few months ago some a-hole hit me in a parking lot and broke the tail light. The tail light I bought came with bulbs and in 3 months the bulbs that aren't the LED have burnt out. They really used the cheapest quality and not even the proper size. The turn signal bulb is 4157 not 3157.

 

Put my Fumoto valve in. Back to clean mess free oil changes. I have had these my last 4 vehicles.

 

This is on my list. One thing that keeps popping up in the back of my mind, though, has anyone ever experienced a failure with this valve and dumped oil while running down the road or on a trail. I have to assume the mechanism is fairly stout and doesn't undo easily.
