I'm very interested - also have an access cab. They were cheaper then the NFab ? I have read they are the same thing. Did you look at other web sites ? Autoanything was the best ? Are you getting them so she can get into the truck easier ? Thanks.

This is my conversation with AutoAnything. Might answer some questions for others.

One moment please while we connect you with a product specialist (If you are experiencing a delay please call 800-874-8888).

[George] Is loyalty the best code for me at this time ?
[John G.] Hello and thank you for contacting AutoAnything. My name is John G.
[John G.] If applicable to your order the LOYALTY code is the best code.
[George] is this the correct one for 2008 tacoma access cab ?
[John G.] That is correct. It is the right item.
[John G.] Shipping is free and there is no tax.
[George] any idea about the durability of the powder coat on the step itself - not the tube - just where your shoe will wear it out ?
[John G.] The durability is great and the step is nice.
[George] These just bolt on - no holes to drill - right ?
[John G.] That is correct. They use the holes in the frame and hardware is included with instruction.
[George] Thanks John G. I think I'm going to pull the trigger.
[John G.] Is there anything else I can help you with today?
[George] is this the 2'' ? Do they come in 3'' ? like it says in the description ?
[John G.] The Smittybilt steps are 3"
[George] Just to double check - the ones I'm ordering are 3"
[John G.] It is a 3" main bar yes.
[George] What is the measurement from the door sill to the top of the step where your foot goes - if you know ? Thanks
[John G.] I really do not know as it varies from each vehicle.
    [George] Thanks. I'm done.
[John G.] Thank you for shopping with AutoAnything!

No has seemed to have a problem with them and i read a couple reviews, so put up some pics when you guys get em on!!!!!!

Yea george, the girl needs em to get in and out, she has to hop and twist everytime. Its quite funny to watch at times tho. this should fix that problem and maybe help to stop the stumps and big rocks from entering the cab. I don't like when that happens

Yea, hoping it solves her problem same as you also from what I read on TW they should protect the side of the truck from inconsiderate jerks in parking lots that don't give a shite when they open their doors - now they can bang up their door on the Smittybilts instead of hitting mine.

LOL, apparently sick to his stomach! :D

I'm not overly fond of the looks, but in terms of functionality it will serve me well until I decide if I really want a full size topper. My iguana used to ride in the back of the Prius, but since I sold it, I needed a place for her to ride, plus protected storage.
