Very nice, really wish i had a 4x4. Ive reached the funk-faking limit on a 2wd, about to sell my ducati and search for a 1st gen/early 2nd gen 4x4 side project.

I'm noticing, while shopping for tires, that some tires are only approved for rim sized 7-9. Is that inches wide? What number are these 2008 sr5 rims? I'm thinking a 7. I am currently on 245/75/16 dueler at revo2's and that ratio makes the overall diameter 30.5". I'm hoping to get a wider tire without going too much taller. I had to take a light bulb out in the garage to fit the truck after putting on 90000's and 886's.

    Another thought...

Why do folks move their diff breather location?

Oh and I put on the ez down tailgate piston and the antennax shorty (5in).

People move the diff breather so they can go through water without worrying about contaminating the rear diff. It's on the top of the axle housing. It usually gets moved up to a bed cubby or next to the gas filler. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/diff-breather-mod-for-dummies-pics.15686/

265/70/16 is same height but wider and the rear diff breather is moved up higher to keep it out of water. The front and TC are already higher, just not the rear.
