What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I finally got my BORLA DUAL EXHAUST installed today.....What a difference it makes......

Specifically I was able to pick up WTOP FM from Warrenington but with the short antenna not at all. The call sign may be different for this station now days. I really have not listened to commercial radio for 7 years now.

Some will argue that XM is commercial as well.





The ones I saw were spectacular.

 

well nothing today. he other day i took the sticker the dealer had on (toyota and knoxville under it) came off wayyyy easier than i thought!!! i just had to pick at it with my finger nail. hears a photo. and tomorrow i hope to take it to moms work and wash and wax. ( i can take it in side a building out of the sun. makes waxing easier)

 

Me thinks these pics are good enough for a lifetime pass!

Installed my new TRD exhaust. I can definitely tell the difference...very noticable increase in power! Now just waiting on my new leather shift boot and N-Fab spare tire carrier to come in. I will post pics once both are in.

Added my new XD series wheels 16". looks so much better than the polished ones that were on before. oh and I hosed it down to knock a layer of dirt off

 

like a whole new truck now...nice purchase

 

Put on a Softopper top, Weathertech floor liners, changed the engine oil, front and rear diffs, and manual trans fluid over to Amsoil synthetic. Then I washed and waxed the truck. It was a good week.

 

I actually did this yesterday but I painted it today so I hope that counts.

 

UPS just brought me 4 new silver FJ Trail team rims with TA KO's off a new FJ!!
As soon as I mount them I'll post pics. (Like a proud father would their young!)

exhaust dump before the muffler? confuse the emission testing?

The last pic is of an exhaust cut out. Yes, it dumps it before the muffler for a some more vroom vroom. There isn't really a performance benefit except on higher powered vehicles, specifically boosted ones. They are meant for use at the drag strip. The cutout alone shouldn't affect emissions not that it would matter, they don't test it here.

Nope. I chopped it right after the 2nd set of 02 sensors.

very nice....now you just need a full set of ATO skids and you'll be set!

 

I'm leaning more towards getting a plasma and making my own.


I just wrapped my junk up so it doesn't melt the shifter on the t-case.


This stuff cost more than all the tubing.
