Rear diff breather mod done! Cost about $24 in parts. Glad it's done before my next mudbath at work.

I got it, but thanks for looking out for me! One of my fellow CT thread members tagged me in it!

Trying to do some reading up on it, to see what I would need to make sure that it would work properly since I understand, so far, that the lights are a lot stronger so there is some wiring stuff going on, I think??!!

Anybody know if I can install a trd pro skid plate without taking my bull bar off? From pictures I've seen it looks like it goes on Inbetween the brackets?

Which bull bar. I've read that Westin bars can coexist with trd skid plates

@Frito I have a 2" lift right now with 275/60 Dynapro ATm's on them now. Had to trim a little. They are a rare find, and expensive. I fell in love with them when I first saw them on a Tacoma.

You should be ok then. I would call Westin just to be 100% sure. They will have a compatibility guide.

Fresh batch of Lucas 80-90w mixed with their oil stabilizer for the 5 speed gearbox and open diff. Been at least 75k (oops) with last batch and amazed at nothing on the drain magnet and oil was not gold as new stuff is but wasn't far from it at all. Didn't feel all slippery like new but wasn't far from it. I think I'll stay with this recipe but not leave it in there that long this time. Got truck with 50k on it and have only changed the gear oil out twice as of now and about to turn 150k. Also cinched down all the 3rd member nuts. Don't want any seepage.

@NABeast. I always wanted to see how those caps looked on the Deep 6s. I see money leaving my wallet now.

Well they don't go right In, they are too big. I'll load some pics on how I did it ,and tag you. The caps themselves are pretty cheap, but it was a process to resize them.

Curious, how much was the total cost? I'm looking at painting all mine black, but I wouldn't mind going your route, which I think is better.

Right around $400. Kind of pricey, but since this truck will be mine for at least 10 years, this was the right choice for me! I'll post after pictures soon.

The way I look at it, $400 is cheaper then the amount of time I'll spend to prep/paint to get the same look. I'm in, thank you!

These came in the mail today and got installed immediately. Even in daylight, backed in the garage, the difference is noticeable.
