I'm type 1 but if you need help with anything feel free to message me. Doctors don't know what they are talking about 1/2 the time. They don't live with it.

I have $180 in the rotors from Amazon. $38 in the pads from autozone.

Best bang for the buck brake job on a tacoma. The slots give you just a little better initial bite, the ceramic handles the heat better, and the pads create virtually no dust.

    Added new wheels and tires.
I have a 2012 Tacoma SR5 Prerunner. I changed my OEM steel wheels to the Ranger wheels and new tires, which I got from Discount Tires. I also changed the OEM front and rear shocks to the Bilstein 5100 shocks and they are amazing. These new shocks will help stabilize my truck when pulling my new 2017 Forest River Roo 19 trailer.

Ceramic doesn't handle heat as well a semi met. They are actually not recommended for towing or high heat applications.

They handle the heat better than the stock pads is what i'm saying.

Nothing handled the heat like my yellow stuff EBCs did. But they lasted 12k and created enough brake dust to choke out a large village.

Noisy too probably. I've used the DLast gold pads back when I worked for AZ. They were solid. Best combo I've used so far is Centric Blanks with wagner thermo quiets.

Its like a fuzzy buzzing sound.

I'd like to find a better pad that isn't a bunch more money and creates as much or less dust than these. Some how i just feel like its not going to exist

Had the Wagner thermo quiets on my last taco. No dust, don't use shims, and were around $60. Stopped better then OEM pads.

Don't see why not. Although the frame won't sit on top of the sumos.
