What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Been thinking about it... easy to pull out the bezel, so no biggie if I do it later, but definitely thinking about it.

 

Finished up the center console light switch and did a quick detail on the exterior

 

Washed it.

Vacuumed the interior.

Re-glued these:

 

Question: 2007 prerunner with a leveling kit, 265/70/16 KO2's and 108,000 miles on it. At About 65 mph and not even that fast I have a solid humming noise and vibration in the front. What could be the deal? Thanks

Could be a lot of things. New tires? Old tires? Wheel bearings. If it hum at low speeds too then it's a good chance it's wheel bearings

EDIT:
Scratch all of that, i'm an idiot. You have a prerunner, so you have no front diff.

It is one of your wheel bearings. You need to get it fixed before it causes an accident or breaks more stuff

 

Finally finished mounting 50in 5d led nice and solid, bright as hell and nice low profile look with caliraised mounts but holy fuck the whistling is bad 20-40 mph a droning sound and over 40 I feel like I'm driving a turbo diesel without the perks.

I read mods from silicone,weatherstripping,rain gutters,adjusting pitch of light higher...........this light is an auxbeam bar has anyone found the best mod to fix the whistle? I'm hoping to get it right the first time and not try 15 different rig jobs

 

Adjusting the angle of the light definitely helps, you gotta find that butter zone. My tip is. Loosen the bolts enough to be able to angle it by hand, jump on the freeway and reach out and move it up and down to see if you can find the best angle for the light and to reduce noise. Other then that, weather stripping helps as well

 

Or sell it and get a prinsu rack and a 40" and get no noise with no problems. I got a pic of mine at the top of this page
