The lights are part pf the kit. But the lights and steps get their trigger from the door ajar wires under the kick strips Pink/Black - Green/Yellow on the driver side and Red/Black - Pink/Black on the passenger side. There is a diode that is installed on the driver side Pink/Black and passenger side Red/Black Ground Trigger. If you were going to just add lights I don't know if the diodes are still needed.

ETA: The wiring harness passes from underneath the truck through a grommet in the floor pan of each side

I also set up my auxiliary Interior LED Strips by wiring them to the trigger ground in the dome light when I did the Map Lights on with Dome Light Mod.

Where did I put those pictures......?

So, today I've spent the day cleaning my bed of the truck. Reason, I just finished getting a rrt and going camping next weekend. I've had the truck in the shop for the last 6 months in and out. Long list ill post once I start my build thread. The bed came out amazing. I have a question for you guys on thoughts but ill get back to it in a sec. I then moved into the inside of my truck. I had a power inverter a friend installed awhile back. it was installed on the passenger side by the left kick panel. I always hated it there, been wanting to move. So, I started that project. put it in the center counsel. I found one that fits perfect. Two power outlets and a usb. While I had that taken apart I ended up running power outlets in the center counsel. 3 power outlets. Then, for a treat I had wired a speaker years ago, ran the wires but never finished the project cause I wasn't sure how and where I wanted it mounted. I found the place! Center counsel! lol. Came out great. the speaker is connected to a noise maker and mic. It plays animal sounds, music and other stupid stuff. Fun gadget to mess around. Here are the pics of the finished project. 20161104_234502.jpg 20161104_234516.jpg 20161104_234521.jpg 20161104_234543.jpg

Found these on Amazon. Wired it all up with a relay. Fused 20a going to USBs. Low amp circuit for the switch. I didn't want to do the always on method with the relay. Just not my style. And I like to charge my phone when I'm camping and don't want the ignition to be on Did some research and found these USB chargers. Came with these crappy glass fuses. That wanted to be wired directly to a power source. So I changed it up and wired it with a spdt relay. Just to play it safe.

When I had hid fogs that's exactly how I had the ballast. It's a good spot for them
