ok so i didnt go quite as far as i planned...but i basically just got bored with dealing with it

    here's my diff breather extension

    From the diff
    DSC00159_9d211f100372a7fb90b314c1c4649fbbd64b6943.jpg

    and up to the frame
    DSC00160_4aa941c520a8d4c741565741990c9dceb47a560f.jpg

and to the fuel door area
    DSC00161_58dde221e376e239e65cd1e8c99ed1600a30ea1b.jpg

was able to reuse original breather valve with the right brass pipe fittings

as 1st gens go (2nd gens im not sure about) the threading INTO the axle is a metric size...but so incredibly close to a 1/8" pipe thread that it'll work...thread your 1/8" nipple into the diff...then top it with a 1/8" -> 1/4" connector...attach regular compressor air line with 1/4" ends...run to your end point...another 1/8" -> 1/4" converter...then re mount breather valve

i've also got cool springy yellow air line instead of boring old black :D

oh and i slapped some new stickers on :D

to add to my diff breather...i think i spent right at $10 total on the whole setup

i got the air line in a clearance package with some other compressor junk that i dont need for $3 because it was opened...and then the fittings were like $2.50 for the converters and $1.5 for the nipple

all can be found at your local lowes
