I did some carbon fiber wrapping today! For those of you who do like carbon fiber, what do you think? Also thinking to take the step sides off my truck, they kinda squish when I step on them (the very few times I actually step on them) I don't off road often so dont need the protection, what do you think? Remove or keep?

It looks like you did a good job, but it looks a bit "much" to me.

I think I would have wrapped the parts you left silver, and left the parts you wrapped.

I would think it would work as long as you have that pc that has the AC vents... Meaning, I would think the way it clips in to the truck would be the same regardless of the year. Make sense? But don't know if it's really like that or not.

 

Funny seeing how much the tires stick out these days... I remember in the 80's when a cop would pull you over and if he could drop a quarter from the edge of your fender and it hit tread ... you got a ticket! I was running 33 on a f-250, 400 with a 650 double pumper, full time 4 wheel drive..........sorry for drifting offfffff.

 

Remove the steps. And, the cf looks good.

Those steps aren't offering any protection offroad if they flex when you step on them. Steps usually hang ow and limit ground clearance so are many times a menace offroad. I'd take them off myself.

 

Attempted to mount SOS front recovery point bracket. Discovered it won't work real well with TRD skid plate. Now it's a $50 paper weight on my work bench. Maybe some day....

Will be adding a hybrid bumper at some point (soon) That will have shackle mounting points. Was looking for an interim solution. Guess oem TRD OR point will due for now.

Got my instrument cluster led's. Breaking out the solder gun this weekend to change the ugly amber dash to white instruments with stock red needles.
