wow i just took a look at the Shrockworks ones. those are so nice. they look like the ARB (almost), and are that type design that replaces the whole bumper. theyre more expensive though, youre right on that.

i think ill stick with the ARB, since i already installed the OME front suspension parts 2 weeks ago as a prerequisite.

i had another question... i see a lot of automatic tacos on here. I would imagine its easier to go offreading with a manual; you get better control over the gears and such. maybe its just me though. oh well. its also more boring driving an auto. just my opinion though, nothing against auto tacos.

I have an auto, and before the taco i had an auto cherokee. I have found I do better then most manuals cause you have to play the clutch and gas. Causing not so consistent movement. Where as an auto you can work the gas and brake with out interuptions. Plus its amazing what just the power from idle can get you thru....
I will give you that on most smooth surfaces an manual is more entertaining to drive.

Just my my 2 cents :)

How much lift does the OME suspension give you or do you have to use blocks and spacers to get the actual lift?

Yeah they are some sweet bumpers, but like you saw, they have a sweet price tag too. and I would love to have an ARB, i would be perfectly happy with it if i could find a good deal on one.

When it comes to manual and automatic. Personally i prefer manual on and offroad, but both have their pro's and con's. It's just a matter of what fits you best, what type of driving you mainly do and personal preference....
