What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Sorry, but I'm not near that area. For now, I snapped a pic of what it looks like. Nevermind the wire, I still need to clean that up. I plan to smooth out the cut edges for a cleaner look.

Tried repainting my Pop n Lock. The paint was peeling and it looked like crap. We'll see how it turns out when it dries.

 

Changed my oil and tried to reset the check engine light. No luck. It must have something to do with when I changed out the LED's to blue but I have reset the oil light since. HUM????? I'll figure it out.

 

Installed backwards helper springs. No more axle wrap and a huge drivability improvement. Will be needed new tires in no time. Hooks up a lot better now from a stop.

I went to Autozone to get me a set of Off road lights to place on my bull bar, and drove around in the rain most of the day. Glad I got to put a good coat of wax on the truck Saturday.

New Borla Exhaust and aFe CAI

 

I pulled my USA-SPEC out to send back for warranty. It has been cutting out on the passenger side speakers lately, today it decided to not work at all. After unplugging it my stereo worked again.

Anybody else experience crap like this? Or did I just get a bad iPod adapter?

 

I am totally amazed everytime i see under those trucks from the southern states, You guys don't realize how lucky you are to live in an area whare they don't use road salt !!! Wish my truck was clean as that underneath. Nice setup BTW

 

yah no kidding... my truck is red underneath. Freaking salt. I got the CRT a month ago and it looks a ton better, but they only did the frame. I wish they did parts of the exhaust/bed/etc. I'm gonna strip my truck one day and coat it nice.

Well for starters my truck is 7 years newer then yours... And Nebraska does use salt buuuuuut I haven't been around it long enough for it to do much. I was in Washington for last winter, I'm not 100% sure what they use but where I was they never plowed so it didn't make much of a difference anyway. Just keep wash it periodically through the winter and you should be golden if it hasn't start to rust already.

 

How do like the sound?
Is it a lot louder or just a lower tone?
