Discovered a few things today. One, very small ding below the TRD decal on the passenger side. Two, my steering wheel telescopes. Three, I need the steering rack TSB.

out of town for the week but i took a little project with me on the trip. Didnt have access to my normal tools so i did all the cutting by hand with a hacksaw and a pencil and 180 grit paper to sand it down smooth.

oh and btw this grill was the ones off ebay.

just waiting till the depot opens tomorrow and ill pick up some fiber and resin. Should i use bondo or abs paste and sand that down. Not sure what would be better.

Learned how to measure transmission fluid temperature with my Scangauge 2. Straight from Scangauge:

    Transmission Temperature 1 (Degrees F) 2010+
    TXD: 07E02182
    RXF: 046105820000
    RXD: 2808
    MTH: 00090005FFD8
    NAM: TF1

    Transmission Temperature 2 (Degrees F) 2010+
    TXD: 07E02182
    RXF: 046105820000
    RXD: 3808
    MTH: 00090005FFD8
    NAM: TF2
    *
It’s theorized that TF1 is the pan temperature, while TF2 is the converter outlet temperature so TF2 will fluctuate much faster than TF1 will.

She went to the dealer for leaf spring silencer pads (TSB). Also got some touch up paint to cover up her blemishes. Tomorrow... New tires!

Installed my LED tail/signal light bar (it has scanning turn signals too :D) and also used her to bring my new 28" snow thrower home. I feel like a squirrel preparing for winter. LOL

Next up, installing my elusive elements grill!! :woot:

Took it to the dealer for an oil change and inspect for the AAL TSB. they called back saying my tires (265/75R/16's) are too big for the truck which is causing my harsh ride.
    <sigh>

Can you say, Le Douches? I have pics of my issue with the stock tires on. Hopefully my dealer won't be such an anal baby.
