I decided not to go fishing today, sharktober big time here in central Cali this week. Since I fish out of a hunk of plastic...aka...kayak. Thought I would get Taco service up to date. Drained my tranny, it got some fresh MT-90 redline fluid. Then I did my rearend, Vavoline 75w-90 and transX limited slip oil. Also cleaned my KN air filter. Next week I might tackle the spark plugs. Feelin like I breathed new life into this taco. Rearend was pretty dirty, dont think it was ever done? I just got it 3 wks ago with 63k miles. Probably will find orig. spk plugs in it still too....later, Kimo

We had 8 inches of snow here yesterday and they outperformed the stockers by a landslide! And they look badass too...pictures don't do them justice

The rear diff fluid is pure crap from toyota, when i changed mine it was thick and dark. I put royal purple in and after changing it again at 60k it looked and smelled like new.

Troy, we only had like 4 or 5 inches yesterday, but if you drove into the mountains/hills over by the MA border there were areas with 8+ inches.

They were amazing in the snow... had no idea how deep the snow was until i got out of the truck.

I drove my truck on the snow for the 1st time on Saturday. I would have posted this on Saturday but I haven't had power at my house since then. I realized the stock Dunlops Suck in the snow. Now I know why they are called Dunflops.

The rugged fails weren't any better. :frusty: They did ok in deep snow, but I almost went off the road with just a light dusting. It packed the tread, and caused the tires to slide. I think in deep snow the tires just sank down enough to get traction from the tread AND sidewalls.
