AWESOME!!!!!! still wanting to swap out a couple more, but also wanting to see about completing the rest of the bulb swaps (clock, a/c panel, etc. looks insanely difficult - thankful for the write ups, but damn ... looks difficult, VERY detailed work involved, which I don't have the tools for at the moment )

 

well today i got hit by a scion tc, it was my fault though so can only kick my self, no real big damage just a dent and a scratch thatll buff out

 

stopped work on my center console mod ... ran out of plexi. no worries though, coming out NICELY, can't wait to wrap it up in some fabric and install!!!!

 

still in pieces. figured out what to use for the legs/feet. now I just have to figure out how to make the trays I want. Waiting for this adhesive/glue/bond to dry/cure then sanding it to shape. Found some old speaker box carpet laying around, have to buy some of the 3M though (will be getting this same time I will be doing my int. - changing several panels to suede).

 

engine bay isn't as clean as I would like it to be, but it's fine for now imo. thinking about getting a dress up kit.

 

New cabin air filter with anti-chirp mechanism. nice.

 

Pro Comp 3" lift - coil springs up front (ES6000 and ES 9000 shocks), AAL's out back, wheel spacers, Pro Comp 33" Xtreme Radial Mud Terrain tires!

Got my truck in January; been planning this upgrade since March. Finally got all this done! It's unreal that I'm actually finally driving it! Kept the stock wheels (removed hubcaps and left em' off). I don't feel like I need any chrome-ass ghetto wheels. Some of the black ones are ok but I'm fine with the ones it's got.

Not today but 2 days ago, I broke it. The 4wd and 4lo indicator lights are both flashing constantly and won't go off. Toyota said I blew the front diff actuator and the t-case actuator. Here comes a 2600.00 bill.

Hopefully I can find the parts somewhere else and do the install myself. Anyone installed one of these before?

 

Changed both headlights - wow what a freaking difference. I was getting like 5ft of headlight throw before. People would ask if my headlights were on all the time (inside the car of course). It's actually fun to drive at night again - should've changed them sooner.

Cleaned the throttle body too (got some free spray from a buddy). My throttle body was completely black. It felt like a lawn mower when you turn it upside down. When I let off the gas to shift the rpms actually fall now - so nice. Had no idea it was that bad.

Also wired up some $16 platinum burner 55w halogen lights I found at Walmart. I'm having trouble find a good ground source near the bumper. I have the stock bumper. I was thinking of using the frame where the skid plate attaches. Can't wait to test out the lights. I'll probably get another set just for fun.

 

Great lookin bar. Maybe I should just get really drunk and order one. Then when it shows up I'd be surprised.

What happened?

 

Bed storage locks!!! Now I can safely store my riding stuff when Im out on the trails.

 

Where did you get those locks and how much?

 

Changed the air filter. Old one was turning a bit dark.
