    Was trying to pull out of the inlaws driveway covered in snow and the rear end lost traction. So i hit the brakes and then put it into 4wd. There was no knock or anything. It engaged and I pulled out. About 30 feet after it engaged the lights started to flash. And that was it.

    How cheap is cheap? It's at Toyota right now anyway but they haven't started on it yet. let me know.

    No worries. We have a place here in town that does transmission rebuilds and stuff that offers a huge law enforcement discount that im gonna try to take it to now that i know what the issue is. They rebuilt both the transmission and t-case in the wifes jeep for a crazy good price and even let us make payments. I'll be checking with them on Monday.

    I had my oil changed and ordered the parts for the differential breather mod at the dealership. The parts guy was cool - I handed him my iphone and showed him the part numbers on TW. He said they were cheaper than the ones he put on his FJ.

    He then gave me a quote for a full OME kit with Dakars installed for $1500+tax, which seemed like a solid deal for a dealership install. Right?

    They had a Katzkin display too...
