After a recent wheeling trip my taco makes all sorts of rough sounds. Something in the front suspension makes a constant wind-chime-pitched sound down pavement road and my steering makes a screeching/groaning sound when I turn the wheel at a standstill or slow speeds.

    Any ideas where to grease?

Blacked out the rear bumper with bed liner. Used an orbital sander to rough up the chrome. Also fog lights, color matched grill surround, and almost no chrome left :taco:

Swapped my drivers side CV axle and adjusted my drivers side KING up a rotation. I still feel like my truck doesn't look as tall as other "3 inch" lifts

Really need to finally swap my rear brake lines and install my Deavers already. Anyone want to lend a hand? Ill buy some beer

The same shit everyone else has.
Curious to see how you mount em.

    I mounted mine tonight -

I need to paint the mounts when I get a chance now but Im happy with how they sit. I have just enough room between them and the tailgate to mount my 7 gallon wates jug I use for camping.

I also replaced my reverse bulbs with brighter LEDs so they match the under bumper back up lights.

    Comparison shot -

And I also ordered a single row 41" LED light bar and a set of 4 LED flood pods to mount on my cab rack. I plan on mounting the pods at each corner of the rack to shine off too the side of the truck

Zapped up a new front mount for my awning. For some reason the L-Bracket I was using caused the nut to constantly back out, about every 50 road miles or so. The awning would rattle around and strip the threads on the mounting bolts.
200 miles on this and it's solid. One of many parts that will get powder coat at some point.

Maybe a locknut would have sufficed?

Does that mean you tried it? I've never seen a nyloc nut back out if anything.

I think the way the L-Bracket was bolted to the Prinsu cross bar with washers as spacers allowed for a small amount of play which contributed to the LOCK NUT and LOCK WASHER backing off over time. It didn't start doing it every 50 miles until threads got busted up.
This bracket does not move period.
