Should net around 1.75" of lift with a V6 DoubleCab. Not going for max height, just a level look with a great ride and better load/hauling capacity.

I pulled the passenger seat and lifted the carpet to locate a water leak (when it rains or it goes thru a carwash).

The moisture barrier in the passenger door (behind the door panel) was not sealed/glued to the door along the entire perimeter.

I pressed the clear moisture barrier down into the black guey glue/tar then sealed the edge of the clear plastic with some Duck tape.

Another simulated rain test shows that it is MUCH less, but still a drop or 2. Nothing that showed inside the truck this time, just a few drops on top of the weather stripping.

I may pull the panel off again and try to stop it completely tomorrow.

I would guess that the driver side is about the same, but I have yet to spot the moisture on the under side of the factory mats (like on th epas. side).

I am not convinced this is the only leak entry point....as the moisture tends to be concentrated near the transmission hump and towards the seat .

The leak that I spotted at the weatherstripping ran down into the narrow groove where the wiring runs along the door opening. It puddled in the jask storage compartment (I have an extended cab PreRunner 2004).

I left the seat out and the carpet loose. Rain is expected tomorrow, so maybe I'll find the leaks.

Well I aquired a 60" high lift jack some time back got it working. So I decided to fit the truck for it. Have some brackets that work with the rail system but need to fab up some drop brackets for the jack. Well when I put the jack up to the rail to see what I was working with I notice the jack is longer than the length of the bed. The foot would be on the iron next to the tailgate making for a poor fit. I decided to cut about 1.5" off of the highlift. Yeah you heard correctly.

Well it was getting dark so I painted the freshly cut end and put it in the shed for the night. Tomorrow I will be making some drop brackets and trying to find a way to lock the jack to the truck.
