Which mounts are these on the AP bumper? They don't look familiar.

    *Edit*

I also successfully eliminated the dakar squeak I had all winter. Not 1 little squeak coming from teh back end now.

They slide inside the ends of the front lower crossmember. You put the bumper on then the bolts go up through the bottom of the bumper, through the crossmember then thread into that nut. Things may have changed over the years. My bumper was in the first production run of the first gen plate bumper for the 2nd gen trucks. It’s old, and is getting it’s 3rd powder coat as we speak.

Yesterday I was able to nearly finish swapping out my rear bumper. Went from a standard Relentless Fab rear, to a Relentless Fab High Clearance. At the end of the day I realized that I had not shaved enough body off and when the last bolts were tightened up, the bumper sucked up hard against the body panels. Will shave off more today to get the proper fit. Two other TW guys helped out on this operation. TW is a great community.

I am guessing you want to know how I killed the squeak monster attacking my dakars.

Put it up on the lift, and sprayed in between each leaf, all the way in with the little blue spray nozzle that comes with these cans. Spray while pulling it out slowly so it coats everything. Sprayed the square shaped hangers, coated the disks that separate each leaf towards the curve. Sprayed the shackles just because why not, lube all over em. I made sure I went under the truck and coated the inside of everything, then went to the outside of the truck and did it all again to ensure it was fully coated.

It still squeaked on the ride home, but 3 hours later after it has some time to creep in, the squeak monster was slain. :infantry:

    :bananadance:

Now we will see if it stays, or if it washes off right away.

This is the stuff I used.

You used this on the leafs while they were still installed on the truck? Or did you open things up a bit?

    But the 2008 had compas/thermometer,; the 2014 dosen't
And in the 2008 the compartments in the front doors were quite larger.

    Well. There're only details....
