Sorry to butt in here but what kind of roof rack is that? I've been looking for one and our trucks look nearly identical minus the roof rack for me. It's badass!

Should. The ball peen just helps the rivet mushroom out a bit. Just try to make sure your first couple strikes are centered and you should be fine.

Thanks. I decided I'll just go buy a ball peen for a few bucks. I'm sure I'll find other used for it later on.

    Yep.
When my light comes on I have about 50 miles to fill up. That's not a lot when you're on the freeway.

"Mute the beep" mod. I did the delete-beep procedure but it comes back after battery disconnect . really only wanted it quieter. Foam ear plug FTW. :woot:

    A thing or two...
    Yup.

I've had multiple 18+ gallon fill ups in my truck. The most I've ever put in at the pump was 19.28 gallons. While I was living in NM, I'd drive back to my parent's house in TX about once a year. If I took the northern route, my gas light would come on outside of Amarillo. I'd stop on the far side of Amarillo and those fillups were always 17+ gallons.

According to my calculations, mine comes on as early as 100 miles left. And that doesn't include the gas in the lines. BUT my Taco is not a complete beast like yours!!!.... YET :)

In my case it was total waste of money. Does nothing at all. I have a check engine light which it is supposed to prevent.

Though Gadget says it works for others.

The best mod ever. I am not sure who to credit for thinking of the earplug solution - but thanks ever more!

I can't take credit, read it here in another thread. TW ftw . Works great, we'll see how it holds up, but a cheap fix when the foam dries out.
